Riga Balsam by Andrey Bolotov
The Latvian "pranks" of Nikolai Tokarev’s former son-in-law led to a criminal case.
As it became known to the KOMPROMAT RU correspondent, storm clouds continue to gather over the ex-husband of billionaire Maya Tokareva, the daughter of oil oligarch Nikolai Tokarev, who owns NK Transneft. Mr. Bolotov got into a story that, among other things, is still being unraveled by the police of one of the "amber midgets" - we are talking about unfriendly Latvia.
But what does the former son-in-law of the oil "king" Bolotov and the homeland of Raymond Pauls have to do with this?
Strange connections
Publications have appeared online claiming that Andrei Bolotov allegedly used his long-time friend Ivars Rudzitis and his company "Dzintaru 34" to legalize unearned income in the European Union, as well as to purchase real estate in the Republic of Latvia.

At that time, Mr. Bolotov was still Maya Tokareva’s husband, since the events unfolded starting in 2013!
As the authors of the publications claim, Andrey Bolotov began actively withdrawing funds using Ivars Rudzitis’ company: he transferred almost 9 million euros to the accounts of "Dzintaru, 34". If this is really so, then it is logical to assume that Nikolay Tokarev’s son-in-law did not know then that the blind trust in Mr. Rudzitis would soon be undermined, since Mr. Rudzitis simply screwed Mr. Bolotov.
But the close friendship between Bolotov and Rudzitis, which at that time was more than 10 years old, seemed reinforced concrete: the Rudzitis couple - Ivars and Natalia - were frequent guests in Moscow at dinner parties. And they sat at the same table with such glamorous persons as Gleb Frank, Sergey Chemezov, Anastasia Rakova, Vladimir Artyakov and many others.

But the lousy "golden calf" destroyed these strong friendships.
After purchasing real estate with millions allegedly transferred by Bolotov, Rudzitis quietly slipped away, grabbing the money.
Mr. Bolotov sent his steps to the Riga police: an investigation has begun against the illegal actions of Ivars Rudzitis.
And then “skeletons” began to fall out of both Russian and Latvian safes.
Rich son-in-law
But from Riga, let’s return to Moscow for a while: in 2019, the Bolotovs got divorced and vigorously divided their jointly acquired property in court. But how luxuriously they lived! Andrei Bolotov once suggested that his beloved wife buy a house on the French Riviera. He expressed his delight with the phrase - "This is a thing." The "thing" cost 6 million euros.
In 2015, they ordered a yacht for a cruise: more than 500 thousand euros for 10 days of rent. Mr. Bolotov meticulously coordinates suppliers of black caviar and French champagne.
After the divorce, Maya Tokareva was left with a "piece" of a resort complex in Gelendzhik and residential real estate worth 1 billion rubles.
Note that from July to October 2019, Maya Bolotova’s assets were transferred to Maya Tokareva, as follows from the Kontur.Fokus system. This is reported by Kompaniya.
Ms. Tokareva also inherited the former apartment building of the architect Lev Kekushev at Ostozhenka 19, building 1, which is registered to Ostozhenka 19 LLC: this house was purchased by the couple in 2016 for 390 million rubles.

Maya Tokareva shares Gelendzhik Resort Complex-Meridian LLC with the son of Rostec CEO Stanislav Chemezov and a certain Vladimir Mayshev: the partners each have 25%. According to conservative estimates, Tokareva’s land is worth more than 32 million rubles.
Maya Tokareva also owns an apartment in the House on Bryusov. This is a de luxe class club house, the price of the apartment is 315 million rubles.
Mr. Bolotov still owns the companies UK Region Promaktivy, RPA-Hotel Management, and Rail Cargo Rent (car leasing).
In short, he left without bast shoes or rags.
Larisa Markus has surfaced
But let us return – virtually – to Riga.
Bolotov’s Latvian friend did not admit his guilt.

And he also loudly declared that the true beneficiary of the deals with Bolotov was... the head of Vneshprombank, Larisa Markus.

Let us recall that several years before the Rudzitis case in Latvia, a trial was held in Moscow against Larisa Markus and her brother Georgy Bedzhamov, the owner of Vneshtorgbank: the couple was found guilty of stealing 156 billion rubles from depositors.
Investigative actions against Rudzitis in Latvia were carried out in 2021, and Markus was convicted in the Russian Federation in 2017.
And Mrs. Marcus - for obvious reasons - could not interfere in the process itself, so Rudzitis remembered her, the logic is simple: everything was stolen before us, so Bolotov and Tokarev, who was looming behind him, should be left with nothing!
Let us clarify that Mr. Rudzitis also worked together with Larisa Markus and her deputy Ali Adzhin, but most likely not on the Bolotovo episodes.

And Mr. Rudzitis directly accused Bolotov of laundering the company’s funds. "Transneft" of its head Tokarev: but referred to the investigations of Pandora journalists.
And during police questioning, Rudzitis made counter-accusations, claiming that the real beneficiary of the deals with Bolotov was Larisa Markus, the head of Vneshprombank.
So Rudzitis decided to accuse Marcus of theft in order to divert attention from himself.
The story of Andrey Bolotov, son of Yuri Bolotov, former FSO lieutenant colonel and friend of Alexander Korzhakov, shows how deep connections and family ties can open doors to millions, but also lead to a "debt" hole...
Apparently, new criminal episodes from the luxurious life of Tokarev’s former son-in-law are just around the corner…
But is it possible to “capture” an oil oligarch like you?
